The multi-function handle, rotatable in five positions, supports comfortable operation of the STIHL HSE 71 in various cutting positions. For additional reach when cutting, you can use the practical 3-stage switch system, allowing you to easily switch from the front switch bar to the rear end of the handle. With the single-edged cutting blades, you can precisely cut even thicker branches in a comfortable position. The laser-cut blades with hardened cutting edges are highly robust and remain sharp for a long time.

When working close to the ground or in contact with walls or obstacles, the cutting blades are protected from damage by the screwed-on guide protector. The integrated cut protection of the STIHL HSE 71 electric hedge trimmer supports safe working during use. The integrated cable strain relief allows the cable to be pulled without disconnecting the plug connection.

To collect cuttings directly on the blade when trimming with the STIHL HSE 71, you can use the STIHL clippings collector as optional accessory.
