The basis for a clean cut and fast work progress is the particularly powerful EC motor and the STIHL 1/4"-PM3 saw chain. The speed-dependent, automatic chain lubrication is another advantage of the STIHL GTA 40. For precise handling, the cordless pole pruner has an ergonomically shaped control handle with hand guard and an upper grip for the second hand. It is shaped in such a way that slipping is prevented as much as possible. The claw-shaped deflector geometry in front of it also visually and haptically separates the upper grip area from the cutting attachment. The mechanical operating system with a double-sided rocker, the variably adjustable chain speed, the sprocket cover with side chain tensioning, and the LED charge level indicator are further advantages of the GTA 40. Not to forget: the two-sided steel eyelets for attaching a fall protection device – for example, in climbing tree care.
