With the STIHL FSA 86 R cordless brushcutter, you can trim lawn edges along paths and obstacles neatly and efficiently. Even small lawns are mowed by hobby gardeners, small businesses, and caretakers thanks to the powerful EC motor with consistent working performance. In addition, the particularly quiet operation of the brushcutter allows working without hearing protection in noise-sensitive environments. Thanks to the cordless technology, the starting process is particularly easy and requires little effort, and the FSA 86 R is ready for use at the touch of a button.

The batteries from the STIHL AP system are protected in the motor housing on the handle, so that, especially during longer operations, the low weight and the balanced battery center of gravity in the shaft axis ensure fatigue-free work with the brushcutter. The ergonomic all-around handle with a soft surface and the stepless speed control of the STIHL FSA 86 R cordless brushcutter also offer high working comfort.

The brushcutter is compatible with three different cutting tools, which you can change without tools. The standardly integrated twin-line mowing head STIHL AutoCut C 6-2 with a cutting circle diameter of 350 mm can be refilled by hand. Simply insert the mowing line into the housing from the outside. Depending on your requirements, you can alternatively use the STIHL PolyCut 6-2 mowing head with plastic blades or the STIHL DuroCut 5-2 mowing head with line pieces with the FSA 86 R cordless brushcutter. The spacer bracket on the FSA 86 R prevents damage to plants, objects, and the device itself when working with the different mowing heads.

All cordless devices within the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for daily use even in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they have tested splash protection. The effectiveness is proven by demanding internal tests. The splash water test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
