FSA 400

The very powerful cordless brushcutter FSA 400 from the STIHL AP-System is ideal for professionals in garden and landscape maintenance, municipal operations, and forestry. Whether for green area maintenance in noise-sensitive areas, mowing tall grass, removing wild growth and scrub, or felling small trees in young stand maintenance – the STIHL FSA 400 combines ergonomic work with fast work progress and high operating and working comfort.

With a cutting circle of up to 520 mm and a powerful EC motor, the FSA 400 offers ideal conditions for efficient green area maintenance. The ergonomic two-hand grip (bike handle), specially shaped for mowing applications, can be adjusted without tools using the foldable clamping device. The 10-point hole rail for hanging the device and the integrated STIHL anti-vibration system contribute to fatigue-free work. On the ergonomic control handle, you can adjust the speed in 3 stages to work as efficiently and energy-saving as possible. The energy-saving mode is indicated by an LED.

For a long service life, in addition to its robust housing, the cordless brushcutter is also equipped with a durable steel drive shaft, an extremely stable aluminum protective tube, and a gearbox with a grease refill screw. The air filter with metal mesh allows for optimal engine cooling and is easy to clean.

For efficient use with STIHL Fleet Management, the STIHL FSA 400 is already prepared for use with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.

In addition to the standard STIHL BrushCut 300-3 supplied, you can also use the STIHL FSA 400 cordless brushcutter with metal cutting tools from our extensive range of accessories, for example, the ShredCut 270-2 mulching blade or the WoodCut saw blade, chisel tooth, high-performance, and the appropriate guards. For energy-efficient grass mowing, the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 mowing head with plastic blades is particularly suitable.

All cordless tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even under adverse weather conditions. They therefore feature tested splash water protection. The effectiveness is demonstrated by demanding internal tests. For the FSA 400 cordless brushcutter, the splash water protection already demonstrated in internal tests was additionally certified according to IPX4 protection class.
