The FS 38 is STIHL's lightest brushcutter and the ideal entry-level tool for garden owners. Weighing only 4.2 kg, this brushcutter is perfect for trimming lawn edges and cutting small lawn areas. Additionally, with this compact and agile grass trimmer, you can reliably remove grass and weeds from paths and stairs. The one-hand multi-function handle allows for easy operation, as all control elements are located in one hand. With the other hand, the STIHL FS 38 petrol brushcutter can be guided precisely with the bike handle. Other advantages of this petrol grass trimmer include the STIHL 2-MIX engine, which combines high performance with economical consumption.
If you are planning longer periods of use in the garden, it is recommended to use the single shoulder harness, available as an accessory. This significantly increases comfort during long periods of use and protects your muscles and joints. The STIHL ErgoStart or the STIHL ElastoStart can also be retrofitted. Both systems simplify starting the device and reduce the necessary effort.
