The STIHL MS 261 C-M petrol chainsaw is ideally equipped for forestry work in thin and medium-density stands. This professional chainsaw is designed for versatile use. With a power-to-weight ratio of 1.6 kg/kW, you can work particularly nimbly and with endurance. This allows you to quickly and effectively delimb and cut trees to length. Felling thin trees is also easy.

The powerful 3.0 kW (4.1 hp) STIHL 2-MIX engine provides the necessary power with low fuel consumption. To ensure you can work quickly and with optimal engine performance at a constant maximum speed, this petrol chainsaw is equipped with STIHL M-Tronic. This assists the starting process and regulates the ignition timing and fuel metering. The STIHL .325"-RS Pro saw chain together with the STIHL Light 04 guide bar offers high cutting performance with reduced weight.

To ensure you can use the power long-term and with as few interruptions as possible, the STIHL Ematic system ensures that every drop of oil reaches exactly where it is needed. Operating time is also extended by the long-life air filter system with pre-separation and the HD2 air filter. This equipment ensures that maintenance intervals are extended.

The VW version of the MS 261 C-M includes a heated handle.
