The blowing tube can be removed from the housing without tools, and you can store the two parts compactly in your workshop, garage, or cellar. Alternatively, the BGA 160 can also be easily hung on the wall using the hanging eyelet at the bottom of the device.

All cordless tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use even in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they have proven splash water protection. The effectiveness is demonstrated by demanding internal tests. The splash water test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard. The STIHL BGA 160 is also suitable for use in the rain.
The splash water protection, already proven in internal tests, has also been certified according to IPX4 protection class for the STIHL BGA 160.
